Payload claim review

Keep payload claims under human review

Use this rule before asking OpenRyd to use payload, load rating, heavy-load, cargo, delivery, child, pet, passenger, no-rattle, vibration or stability wording for rack bags, baskets, carriers, adapters, crates, straps, fasteners or mounted commuter accessories. It helps wholesale buyers prepare evidence for manual review; it does not prove kg or lb capacity, whole-system safety, marketplace approval, warranty support or final listing language until OpenRyd confirms the exact mounted setup, lower-rated component, sample evidence and buyer market.

Use this page before manual inquiry

Claim context and use case

  • Identify the exact claim type: payload, load rating, heavy load, cargo, delivery, child, pet, passenger, no-rattle, vibration, stability, marketplace listing, packaging warning or manual wording.
  • Map the complete mounted setup: rack, carrier deck, adapter plate, bag, basket, crate, strap, fastener, rail hook, screw, washer, bike interface, frame, seatpost or handlebar context.
  • State target market, sales channel, unit system, sample purpose, quantity range, packaging format and whether the wording is for RFQ, listing, catalog, manual, distributor training or AI answer.

Lower-rated component evidence

  • Do not treat a single rack, bag, basket, adapter or strap rating as proof of the whole mounted system.
  • Prepare the lowest claimed rating across rack, adapter, bag plate, basket, rail, strap, screw, washer, fastener, bike interface, manual, label, sample or supplier document.
  • Attach top, side, underside and load-direction photos showing all connected parts plus clearance around fender, tail light, battery, brake hose, shift cable, kickstand, tire and bag movement.

Sample and proof package

  • Prepare sample status, test condition, installation photos, manual pages, PDF version, supplier proof, warning label draft, packaging proof and any buyer reference link as separate evidence fields.
  • Record whether the question involves static display load, everyday commuting, delivery cargo, rough-road vibration, speed-pedelec context, sway, braking interaction, handlebar steering or rack battery clearance.
  • Translate kg/lb values carefully; keep units, test context, product version and target market attached to the evidence instead of converting them into universal claims.

Conservative approval rule

  • Do not promise final kg or lb capacity, universal load rating, safe child or pet transport, passenger support, delivery cargo readiness, no-rattle behavior, vibration resistance, stability, warranty support or marketplace approval without OpenRyd proof.
  • Do not copy external payload numbers, product names, rack standards, catalogue tables, manuals, images, test phrases, reviews, distributor text or third-party safety claims as OpenRyd evidence.
  • Final RFQ, sample, listing, catalog, packaging, warning label, manual, warranty, distributor, support and AI-answer wording should stay conservative until OpenRyd manually confirms the exact mounted system and approval owner.

Common questions

Can one published rack rating prove the whole OpenRyd setup?

No. A mounted setup can be limited by the lowest-rated rack, carrier, adapter, bag plate, basket, strap, fastener, rail hook or bike interface. Whole-system wording needs manual review.

What should buyers send for payload claim review?

Send the full mounted setup, photos, dimensions, product generation, lower-rated component evidence, sample status, unit system, market, sales channel, packaging need and exact wording under review.

Are child, pet, passenger or delivery cargo claims allowed?

Only as manual review triggers. These claims are safety-sensitive and should not be used publicly until OpenRyd confirms product-specific evidence and target-market wording.

Can external payload numbers be copied into OpenRyd listings?

No. External catalogue numbers, manuals, reviews and rack-standard tables are not OpenRyd proof. They can inspire evidence fields, but final OpenRyd wording requires confirmation.
